Prophethood:


At the age of 40, Muhammad


received his first revelation from the Angel Gabriel in a cave on Mount Hira•

 He spent the next 23 years of his life spreading the message of Islam, facing persecution and opposition from the Quraysh tribe of Mecca.


Migration to Medina:


 In 622 CE, facing increasing hostility in Mecca, Muhammad and his followers migrated to Medina in what is known as the Hijrah.

 This event marks the beginning of the Islamic calendar.


Establishment of the Islamic State:

 In Medina, Muhammad established the first Islamic state based on justice, equality, and compassion.

 He laid down principles for governance, including the rights of women, minorities, and the poor.

Conquest of Mecca:

 In 630 CE, Muhammad and his followers conquered Mecca without bloodshed.

 He forgave his former enemies and declared a general amnesty.

Final Years:
